A 24-year-old woman, champion in javelin throw, presented with persistent pain in the lateral epicondyle of the elbow, that did not resolve with conservative treatment. Surgical intervention revealed the presence of degenerative tissue. Removal of the damaged tissue, and appropriate postoperative rehabilitation led to successful return to sports and high performances.

A 28-year-old male, that had been European champion in his teens in 100 metres, presented with tendinopathy of the inguinal tendon. Surgery revealed the presence of degenerative tissue, with subsidiary bundles to the oblique inguinal muscle, removal of which, were enough for the symptoms to subside.

A 26-year-old man, champion in triple jump, presented with a chronic tendinopathy in the inguinal tendon. Surgery revealed the presence of degenerative tissue and post-traumatic adhesions in the oblique inguinal muscle. Symptoms resolved with surgical removal of these pathological tissues.

A 27-year-old man, champion in decathlon, presented with chronic Achilles tendinopathy. Surgery revealed the presence of degenerative tissue and post-traumatic adhesions. The damaged tissue was removed, growth factors were injected, and an appropriate postoperative rehabilitation was followed, leading to clinical improvement.
